has been working as an Electrical instructor with Arecibo Job Corps Center for over two years. He has over 30 years of experience as an electrician, as well as previous experience working as a foreman and general foreman for construction companies. He finds great satisfaction in teaching young people and helping prepare them for successful careers as electricians.

is one of few San Jose Job Corps Center employees who worked at the original center in downtown San Jose, when he started as a math instructor in 1993. So far, he has taught classes in every academic subject offered at the San Jose Job Corps Center and has always enjoyed assisting students in obtaining their high school diploma or equivalency. Before coming to Job Corps, Denis spent over 20 years working in the theater business in the Bay Area.

is a Driver’s Education instructor at San Jose Job Corps Center. He brings over five years of experience as a driver’s education instructor. Joseph started as a resident assistant at Job Corps, and prior to that, he obtained his driving instructor credential from the DMV and has been a driving instructor for over five years. Joseph graduated with a physical education degree and worked as a physical education teacher in different schools for almost 25 years.

is a Literacy B instructor with Sacramento Job Corps Center. William has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with a focus on British literature and a specialty in expository writing. He previously taught public high school English classes and has nearly 10 years of experience teaching at Job Corps. William also has worked as a paralegal for an education attorney. He most enjoys helping students develop a sense of confidence and seeing them succeed.

is approaching her 20th year of teaching Social Studies and Digital Arts at Sacramento Job Corps Center with the School for Integrated Academics and Technologies. She believes in the success of her students and holds everyone accountable for their own actions. Nanette loves hiking and baking gingerbread cookies.
