In addition to career training, Albuquerque Job Corps also provides academic training, including basic reading and math. Courses in independent living, employability skills, and social skills are offered in order to help students transition into the workplace. We also have several academic programs to help our students achieve their full potential.
GED/High School Diploma
One of our top goals at Albuquerque Job Corps is to ensure that every qualified student obtains his or her GED/high school diploma prior to leaving the center. Students who don't already have a high school diploma upon their arrival at Albuquerque can enroll in our GED/high school program.
We also have a School for Integrated Academics and Technologies (SIATech) Charter High School at our center. Students can choose to earn either a GED, a high school diploma, or both during their enrollment.
